Comedy fans tuned in droves to crack their sides at David Hasselhoff’s expense. The Roast of David Hasselhoff premiered on Comedy Central Sunday night to big ratings!

The show — which featured appearances by Hoff’s former Baywatch co-star Pamela Anderson, wrestler Hulk Hogan, and Hollywood star George Hamilton — was the highest rated cable program of the night and the most-watched show among men 18-34, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Some of Tinseltown’s most elite comedians joined forces to recall some of the most chuckleworthy points of singer/actor’s career — including his drunken faceoff with a hamburger and his tenure as television’s original Knight Rider.

The Hoff’s roast helped the network score its highest rated Sunday among viewers 18-49 since April 2009.
