Jimmy Fallon makes the move to primetime as host of the “62nd Primetime Emmy Awards.” Fallon is no stranger to hosting award galas, having hosted both the “MTV Movie Awards” and “MTV Video Music Awards” in the past. The annual awards ceremony, which is airing live across the country for the first time in more than three decades, honors the best shows, cast and crew from the past year in television.
